On that Thursday, they were worried because the weather forecast said that it might rain. However, they decided to go to the beach anyway. They were driving Doug's old red mini-van towards the coast when they saw a car accident. Doug stopped the mini-van to see if they could help. The driver of the car was injured, so Cindy got her first-aid kit and wrapped the driver's leg with a bandage. As they were in the countryside there were no houses around, so Doug used his cellular phone to contact the police and waited for them to arrive. They got to the beach an hour later than they expected, but they were happy to have helped the injured driver.
